The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
The full review, including regulation, withdrawals, website pricing, and the get more info bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
