TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
